Holly Willoughby made an honest admission about her feelings towards the menopause on Wednesday's instalment of This Morning.
The 40-year-old TV star opened up about the 'fears' of entering the next stage of her life in an eye-opening discussion about menopause with TV presenter and model Lisa Snowdon, 49, who has bravely shared her story in the hopes of helping other women who find themselves suffering with life-changing symptoms.
While introducing Lisa, Holly admitted that she was hoping to find out all the information she needed to know ahead of that stage in her own life.
The proud mum-of-three revealed that she held certain 'fears' about 'the changes' and asked upon Lisa to share some wisdom from the former Britain's Got Talent star's harrowing experience.
"I'm sitting her like a sponge," Holly told Lisa.

"This is my next phase of life. This is coming to me and I want to go into this without being fearful.
"And I think the best way of doing that is to listen to other women, to hear the stories and to educate myself and learn. So, I want to hear your story and what your symptoms were then."
Following Holly's admission, Lisa detailed her own experience with menopause, admitting that for a long time, she didn't see a way out amid her depression and anxiety.

"Like Holly, I was 42 when this happened to me. I had no idea. I didn't even know what the perimenopause was. I knew about the menopause. At school, you learn about periods and pregnancy, but never once was I taught about perimenopause or menopause," Lisa explained.
The 49-year-old star first started experiencing symptoms of perimenopause eight years ago.
The condition refers to the time during which a woman's body makes the natural transition to menopause, marking the end of the reproductive years.
Perimenopause is also called the menopausal transition and women start perimenopause at different ages.

For Lisa, it started happening when she was 42, and at the time, she had no idea what was happening with her body - leading to her spiralling into a depression.
Lisa explained that she suddenly started gaining a lot of weight, she had no energy, and was bleeding heavily.
The brave star shared her story as she explained: "Sometimes I felt I couldn't go to work with the fear of bleeding everywhere.
"The pain, the depression and anxiety was almost too much to bare.
"I was going into rages, and my poor partner had to put up with it. They were uncontrollable rages and I knew something wasn't right."
Lifting the lid on the mental aspects of perimenopause, Lisa explained: "A lot of women don't want to be here anymore.
"It was hideous. I have having terrible sweats and brain fog which are so embarrassing. You feel so lost and you don't have any clue what's going on. I didn't recognise myself and that was the scariest part of it all."
Lisa went on: "When I first found out, I was quite shocked when they told me what it was. I had a huge lump in my throat.
"I knew that fertility was off the cards and it was a real wake-up call."
Following her honest admissions, This Morning viewers flocked to Twitter to shower the TV presenter with 'praise' as they dubbed her 'a perfect role model'.
Meanwhile, other thanked Lisa for sharing her story so honestly.
