Holly Willoughby fans 'so excited' as she teases new show

Holly Willoughby's latest show airs on Tuesday as famous faces take on epic challenges set by extreme athlete and cold-water therapy advocate, Wim Hof.

The This Morning star will present Freeze the Fear alongside comedian Lee Mack as eight celebrities undertake a series of sub-zero challenges. Holly, who is used to co-hosting with TV veteran Phillip Schofield said: "Lee is a favourite in our house because he’s so hilariously funny and I’ve been a fan of Wim for a long time – he’s a genius who’s incredibly passionate about helping others.

"This show is going to be brilliantly entertaining and you never know…you may find out some things that could help you along the way too.” Wim Hof, who goes by the name The Iceman, is a Dutch motivational speaker and extreme athlete well-known for his ability to endure extreme temperatures.

Lee said: "My passions in life are Wim Hof, watching ‘This Morning’ in my undies, sub-zero temperatures, looking at celebrities sitting in cold water and free hotels. But trying to find a show that combines these has proved tricky. Finally I’ve found one."

Holly has now shared a behind the scenes look ahead of the programme's debut. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the 41-year-old shared a clip that showed her and Lee wrapped up in warm clothes as they took to the slopes.

There was also a snap of Holly in what appeared to be a hot tub, and a shot of idyllic yurts sat against a snowy backdrop. Holly's fans were quick to comment.

Jen Walker said: "AMAZING Looks so much fun!", while Melissa Jayne said: "Can't wait, I'll be tuning in." Julie Cowen said: "Can't wait for this, so excited".

Freeze the Fear begins on Tuesday (April 12) on BBC One and iPlayer at 9pm
