Holly Willoughby 'doubles ITV paycheck to £5 million after presenting I'm A Celebrity'

Holly Willoughby is reportedly set to bag £5million from ITV after stepping up to present I’m A Celebrity.

Willoughby traded in Phillip Schofield for Declan Donnelly as she jetted off Down Under to fill in for Ant McPartlin.

The presenter, who already appears on This Morning, Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Juice, has reportedly doubled her ITV pay check to £5million with her three-week stint in the jungle.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: “ITV want to make it clear that she is theirs and they are prepared to pay her for it.

New role: Holly Willoughby is presenting I'm A Celebrity with Declan Donnelly (ITV)

“With the exception of Ant and Dec, Holly is their most popular and well-known presenter – and they see her as their main appeal to the female market.”

The insider added that the mum-of-three is “in a place where she can ask for what she wants” and hinted that contract negotiations will start again soon.

It has also been reported that Willoughby, 37, has a 13-person strong entourage with her abroad.

Reports claimed that the presenter has a whole army behind her in Australia, including agent Emily Page, stylist Angie Smith, skin expert Patsy O’Neill and private tutors for her two eldest children to ensure they don’t fall behind with school work.

Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and four-year-old Chester all travelled Down Under with their mum, and dad Dan Baldwin, who has been unable to stay in Australia due to work, but were reportedly told that it is “not a holiday”.

Willoughby said that she “doesn’t think she could do her job without seeing them” and that the headmaster was “amazing” at letting them skip school – but that doesn’t mean the work stops.

I’m A Celebrity is on ITV, tonight at 9pm
