Holly Willoughby cuts seven-week holiday short to quarantine before This Morning return

Holly Willoughby has had to cut her holiday short so she can quarantine before returning to This Morning.

The television presenter was enjoying a seven-week summer break in Portugal with her husband Dan Baldwin, and their three children.

However, new restrictions now mean that anyone returning from the country needs to isolate for a total of 14 days.

According to The Mirror, Willoughby is ”happy to do whatever is necessary” to ensure the safety of everyone around her.

The holiday was cut short so she could return to the ITV series as planned.

As a result of new soaring coronavirus cases in some parts of France, Malta and the Netherlands, these countries have been stripped of their “quarantine exempt” status by the Department for Transport (DfT).

Hundreds of thousands of travellers now face isolating for two weeks upon their return.

Earlier this year, Willoughby stepped down as a panellist on Bafta TV Award-winning ITV2 comedy show Celebrity Juice, which is presented by Keith Lemon.

During her This Morning absence, a series of stand-ins have presented the show, including Rochelle Humes and Alison Hammond, who was praised by viewers for her positive outlook.
