Holly Willoughby confuses fans with early morning Instagram post

Holly Willoughby left fans baffled on Monday morning following an early-morning Instagram post.

The This Morning presenter expressed her tiredness with her followers over the weekend after a week of homeschooling and working on the ITV show.

Holly, 39, had to delay her start back on screen alongside co-host Phillip Schofield due to "childcare issues" after the country was ordered back into lockdown.

Fans have been supportive of the mum-of-three as she faces the challenge of remote learning like millions of other parents.

But her latest post to her seven million Instagram followers left some confused.

The image showed Holly sat cross-legged with her hands holding a small grey ball.

The post was flooded with messages with people asking for an explanation as she captioned the post: "Starting this week as I mean to go on..."

One asked: "What's that Holly.....don't keep me hanging."

"Armed with a juggling ball?" another joked.

A third randomly quizzed: "Are you pregnant? Is that a size comparison of how big the baby is xxx"

"If you know, you know! Namaste," a fourth mysteriously added.

There was also suggestions of a stress ball, bath bomb and again, a juggling ball.

But amongst all the confusion, one tried to clear things up. They said: "It's a crystal ball and she's meditating for anyone confused."

With that cleared up, others were clearly impressed by Holly's 'camera skills'.

"Impressive camera skills with no hands," a fan joked.

Another added: "How did you take that pic lol? Talented haha."

Holly will be back for another week on This Morning with Phil from today (Monday).

The pair are set for a busy week as they'll be on screen for an extra day a week when Dancing on Ice launches this Sunday.
