Holly Willoughby breaks silence on claims she and Philip Schofield are 'fake'

Holly Willoughby has responded to claims of being "fake" by former Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner.

According to The Sun, Jason, 48, said Holly and co-presenter Phillip Schofield had not been in contact with him since he left the show last year.

He had worked with the pair since 2005 and said he found it "hurtful" he was met with silence, Mirror Online reports.

Jason said: "Since it was announced I was leaving the show I’ve had nothing from Phil and Holly. Not even a text message."

"I thought they would get in touch but I’ve learned this industry is full of fake and disingenuous people."

But Hilly dismissed the claims, telling The Sun: "There's nothing to defend.

She went on to say: "We ring each other and talk to each other all the time anyway, about this and other things.

“We know what we’re like. It would be impossible for us to fake the giggles."

Holly went on to say that she is "not that good an actress," to be on the "telly for two and a half hours" and not be friends.
