"Everyones surprised," Alison remarked, to which Dermot confessed: "You're no more surprised than we are to be back."

Today (Sunday January 9) Holly shared a video clip on her Instagram showing her sledging in an idyllic wintry location.

Holly was beaming from ear to ear as she sledged towards the camera in a snuggly winter coat and bobble hat.

And she ramped up the excitement about the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice, which returns next Sunday, and her new BBC show Wim Hof’s Superstar Survival, which will follow a group of celebrities as they embark on an epic adventure of self-improvement.

"Prepping for an icy January… I’m ready for you @dancingonice and @iceman_hof," she wrote.

One follower pokonis1 asked Holly: "Returning to work any time soon to earn you inflated salary??? Just asking."

laurensophie88 said: "Ahhhh that’s why you weren’t on This Morning."

And sawkinstracy commented: "Omg it's alright for some."

But other fans were delighted to see the TV favourite having so much fun.

bobbyobrien578 commented: "You look like your having lots of fun."

And craigclark441 asked: "Cool that looks fun where is that?"

However, normal service is expected to be resumed tomorrow (Monday January 10) with Holly and Phil returning to the daytime show.

Holly reportedly earns £730,000 a year for her role on This Morning, according to The Mirror.

It was recenty reported that Holly had lost the top spot of the highest paid woman on UK TV after a new contract was signed with another star.

Fellow star Susanna Reid has reportedly put pen to paper on a new deal worth £1.1 million in order to stay as the host of ITV's Good Morning Britain.
