Holly Willoughby has savaged Piers Morgan on Instagram, in which she hit out at his age and quality of clothes.
Her brutal comment was enough to prick the thick skin of Good Morning Britain host Piers, who shot back at Holly, disputing the truth of her quip.
Posting a short teaser clip on her Instagram from Bradley Walsh’s Late Night Guestlist, which is airing on Saturday night, it shows Piers seemingly sliding down a pole, in the style used by firefighters.
She told her 5.5million followers in the caption: "Breaking news… Old man in cheap suit slides down pole, imagine the friction burns #PiersMorgan.
"The night did somewhat deteriorate."

It wasn't just the friction burn that Piers was feeling and he was quick to hit back at Holly, commenting: "That was NOT a cheap suit."
It would seem that Holly's followers are not so forgiving and they stuck into Piers, who has a reputation for pulling no punches with his interviewing style.
This time it was the 54-year-old that got a battering on social media, as Holly's comment led to a number of equally savage replies.

This is not the first time in recent weeks that Holly and Piers have called each other out on Instagram.
During an episode of ITV2's Celebrity Juice, team captain Holly is seen leading Paddy McGuinness in a playful trashing of Piers' Life Stories studio.

Before finishing her moment of destruction, Holly turns to the camera and sticks her fingers up.
Piers hit back on Instagram, claiming: "When the halo slips… I’ll exact revenge for this outrage."
It looks like the halo has been put away for the time being as the Holly has the devil in her at the moment.
