Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's boss 'loses temper' as they celebrate England win

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield got told off by their boss on Monday's episode of This Morning.

The TV presenters were celebrating England beating Ukraine in their Euro 2020 match on Saturday, and their Scottish producer wasn't happy about it.

"What a weekend — victory for the Three Lions!" Holly, 40, told viewers. "I'm sure you're not bored of it because we really aren't!"

"Our Scottish boss is, sitting in the gallery now with a sulk on his face," Phil, 59, said, while Holly chimed in: "Sorry not sorry!"

The host then touched his ear piece while Holly covered her mouth, while Phil gasped, saying: "Language!"

"Not at this time of the morning please!" Holly said.

"Oh my goodness, wow!" Phil went on, before Holly said: "Sorry you lost your temper there."

But their bosses' anger didn't stop their celebrating, with the show airing footage of the four goals that secured the England team the win.

"And what a comfortable win it was," Phil continued as the footage played. "Not one but four goals against Ukraine on Saturday."

Holly continued: "Bearing in mind when you normally watch an England game it's not a comfortable watch, you sit there and it's so stressful, but it was comfortable.

"They were incredible!"

Phil agreed, saying: "I wasn't used to it, it freaked me out. I couldn't understand what was going on in my head."

"It was so, so good," Holly added. "We are through to the semi-finals now so it's not over yet.

"I feel like we can dare to dream now can't we? We can let it in, there's a gap in the door, the light's coming in."

Both Holly and Phil weren't sure whether England would beat Denmark, but Holly guessed that they must be "quite good" to have made the semi-finals.

But Phil admitted he doesn't know as he "doesn't know anything about football".

She said: "Guys bear with us, we're really trying to do a football chat here, this is as good as it gets."

"If they're both in the semi-final they must be good right?" Holly said once again, before cheering with her hands in the air: "Kick it in the goal!"

"Yay!" Phil cheered before bursting out into laughter.

England will play Denmark on Wednesday in the Euro 2020 semi-finals, and the match will air at 8pm on ITV.
