Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield replaced on This Morning

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have been replaced on This Morning.

But for fans of the ITV duo, worry not as it's only temporary.

Fellow presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes will be filling in for the next two weeks as Phillip and Holly take their regular half-term break.

Announcing the news, Eamonn wrote on Instagram: "Yes , us ... Mon - Thurs. October half term from 10am. I kid you not."

Ruth also shared, alongside a video backstage at the ITV studio: "It's half term so me & him indoors @eamonnholmes are on @thismorning this week....hope you can join us @itv 10.00 - 12.30 #monday #thismorning #husband."

Friday, however, another partnership will take over but this hasn't been revealed just yet.

Over the summer the likes of Dermot O'Leary, Alison Hammond and Rochelle Humes all stepped up to the role.

However, Rochelle will be ruled out this time around has she has recently gave birth to her third child, a baby boy named Blake.

There's also other changes to the ITV line-up as Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid are also taking a break from Good Morning Britain.

On Monday, Kate Garraway and Ranvir Singh lead the show and were re-joined by Sean Fletcher for all the latest news.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
