Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield giggle over 'massive' rude-looking marrow

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left in fits of laughter over a "massive" marrow, which looked very X-rated.

The This Morning presenters were backstage ahead of Tuesday morning's show when they were joined by stylist David O'Brien, who offered them the sizeable vegetable to take home.

ITV's head of costume explained: "It's a courgette that time forgot and now it's a marrow."

Behind the camera, an intrigued Phillip, 58, asked: "Do courgettes turn into marrows?"

David answered: "Yep," before offering it to Holly, 39, and Phil, adding: "If anybody wants this massive marrow…"

However the pair showed off their dirty minds as they burst into giggles when they realised it resembled something else.

Holly then admitted she was "embarrassed" to take it back with her.

She said through a fit of laughter: "I'm almost embarrassed to take it home in case I break down somewhere."

"Well I brought this on the train," David admitted.

Horrified Phillip giggled: "Well I'm certainly not taking it home."

Clearly amused by the conversation, Phil shared it to his Instagram Story for his followers to see.

Holly and Phil share a very close relationship as they have worked together for 11 years since they began presenting ITV's This Morning together in 2009.

They are often in fits of giggles on the show, as some guests leave the pair red-faced with their naughty innuendos.
