Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield can't contain their laughter after hilarious autocue slip-up

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield engaged in a playful war of words after the latter slipped up while reading from the autocue on This Morning.

As the 56-year-old presenter told viewers what was coming up on today’s edition of the ITV show, he mistakenly introduced new segment Matchmaker Mountain as “Manchester Mountain.”

Willoughby didn’t let her co-host’s blunder go unnoticed, jokily asking Schofield “Where are they? Did we send them to Manchester?” as he put his hand over his mouth to disguise his laughter.

The 37-year-old went on to explain that Schofield had previously poked fun at her for mixing up her lines in rehearsals, meaning that she was happy that the tables had now turned.

“You know what, I laugh because I’ve been slightly messing up all morning, I’m having one of those days,” she told viewers. “Sometimes if I have a really good night’s sleep I get a bit tongue tied, I don’t know why.

“You’ve been laughing at me because I’ve been messing up and you’ve just said Manchester Mountain instead of Matchmaker Mountain.”

“There is no getting out of it,” Schofield admitted.

“Are we keeping tally now?” Willoughby went on to suggest, before adding: “No, don’t start this!”

“You stuffed up the promo! They are actually on Matchmaker Mountain,” her presenting partner hit back.

Matchmaker Mountain is a new segment hosted by Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, in which singles aged over 50 look for love.
