Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield cry with laughter after seeing a seal pee on live TV

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left in tears after watching a seal pee live on This Morning.

The pair couldn't help but burst into laughter as the camera man zoomed in on the seal who visited the Barnes riverside.

Dr Scott Miller appeared on the show via video link after his rescue mission to save a seal in Teddington Lock was played out on TV.

The vet saved a seal from death by removing a fish hook which was stuck to its mouth, and Dr Scott was back on TV with another seal that visited Barnes.

But as the camera man zoomed in on the seal behind Dr Scott, Holly and Phil couldn't help but lose it as they saw the seal pee.

"Wow he's having a wee on live TV, that's lovely," Dr Scott said

Phil then jokingly shouts: "Give the animal some dignity, back off," at which point Holly is laughing hysterically.

The pair then struggled to continue with the show as they laughed uncontrollably, which lead to them going to an impromptu break in a bid to stop laughing.

Earlier on in the show, the pair discussed some hard-hitting topics such as the Sarah Everard case.

Phil clashed with Nicola Thorp after she suggested that all men have at one point passed up an opportunity to call out abuse on women.

The former Coronation Street star discussed the recent vigil held in honour of Sarah Everard.

The 33-year-old went missing while walking home across Clapham Common and was later found dead in a woodland in Kent.

And Nicola said that "it's not about violence against women, it's about male violence against women" and she spoke to hosts Phil and Holly Willoughby about the fear women are forced to live with.

However her comments did not go down well with Phil, who said Nicola was wrong in saying that "all men" have allowed abuse to happen at one point or another.

*This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
