Holly Willoughby accuses Love Island's Maura of 'going too far' and blasts 'insecure' Joe

Holly Willoughby has accused Maura Higgins of "going too far" in her pursuit of Tommy Fury.

Last night on Love Island , boxer Tommy chose Molly-Mae Hague over Maura in the recoupling.

But viewers were previously left fuming at the ring girl after she tried to force Tommy to kiss her, with some accusing her of "sexual harassment".

Speaking about Tommy choosing Molly on This Morning today, Holly said: "Maura had that in the bag, she could have had him.

"But she just went too far, didn't she? It was too much for him, he was just like, 'Oh my god'. Too much of a good thing!"

Holly also hit out at Joe's odd behaviour with Lucie, who he was not happy was hanging around with Tommy.

"There's no way he should be telling her who she should be hanging out with," she said.

Phil and Holly then watched a clip with former Islander Kem Cetinay showing Joe asking Lucie to change.

"I didn't like it," Holly said. "It says more about his insecurity."

This comes after viewers called for Lucie to leave Joe after his unsettling speech about friends.

Joe pulled the Newquay surfer to one side after witnessing her lark around with his former love rival Tommy Fury.

Lucie tried to protest that nothing was going on between them, but Joe told her she wasn't "respecting the one she was with".

Viewers at home were not impressed with the dressing down Joe gave Lucie.

"Mate, what a controlling freak man. Get Joe gone," said one.

'Lucie will end up walking out if this bitchiness from the girls and possessiveness from Joe continues and I would not blame her one bit," said another.

"Joe is so controlling. It’s actually really creepy," commented a third.
