It's a well-known fact Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield don't usually present This Morning on a Friday, so it was surprising for viewers to see the duo on screen today.
The ITV hosts made a special appearance to say goodbye for the summer.
At the start of the show, they broke the news about their time off, with Phil saying: "It's out last show before we go on our summer break... [Holly's] head's already on a lounger somewhere."
Holly then added: "But don't worry Eamonn and Ruth will be be here to take you right through until September."
Some This Morning fans took to social media to question why the hilarious duo made an appearance on today's show, CornwallLive reports.
One viewer said: "Let's see what offerings we have today hang on It's FRIDAY ?!?!? Why are hollywills & Schofe in the studio???"
Another tweeted: "Phil and holly on a Friday? thismorning"
One commented: "Schofe and hollywills just made me question what day of the week it is....friday ....right....not normally on ThisMorning"
Other fans knew why they were there - and it seems the presenters were a big smug about it.
One said: "Smugfield & Holly making an effort actually working on a Friday before they start their 7 weeks off for summer... how lovely."
Another tweeted: "Phil & Holly rocking up on a Friday because it's the last day of school ThisMorning"
