The weather gods are not smiling on Britain, where the start of the school holidays have been met with wind and rain across much of the country. Those camping and those visiting coastal areas will be particularly affected, as winds up to 50mph are set to hit the south-west of England and Wales in particular.
Elsewhere, it’s pretty grey.
We know from past assignments that our readers are pretty stoic about bad weather hitting their holiday plans, and we’re keen to see what you’re up to even if the skies are leaden and the wind is several notches beyond bracing.
If you’re on holiday in Britain this week, we want to see your photographs - the more underwhelming the better. So even if you’re having a fantastic time on holiday, we want to see your blurry snaps of grey skies, barren campsites and the disappointed faces of you, your friends, your family, or even your pets. All we ask is for you to take care, be safe, and send us images dripping with disappointment.

We’ll put together a gallery of the best / worst pictures, to make those of us stuck at work feel slightly better about our fate.
