Holiday park firm Haven creating 500 jobs

Haven is creating 500 jobs at its holiday parks across the UK as a result of more people opting for staycations.

Roles will be available across 37 of Haven’ parks from September on both full and part-time contracts and cover a range of positions such as accommodation cleaners, coaches, support team members, cleaning operations managers and cleaning people managers.

Part of the Bourne Leisure group, Haven employs over 10,500 staff.

Chief people officer for Haven, Sarah Dickins, said: “We hugely value our team and the part that they play in making Haven one of the leading UK holiday operators and these roles will be significant in supporting our existing accommodation teams as we increase the capacity and welcome more guests onto our parks.

“The roles are in addition to our existing accommodation teams and are pertinent to our ongoing operational changes to help with increased demand and ensure guests feel safe and secure whilst on holiday with us during the pandemic.

“The safety of our guests and team is our upmost priority and in addition to providing all team members with free uniform and PPE, we have also invested in a bespoke training and wellbeing programme for all our team."

Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive eight-week training programme and a tailored induction around the company’s new Covid-19 procedures.
