Holiday firm moves St Valentine's Day to June so couples can avoid Covid travel ban

A holiday specialist is "moving" St Valentine's Day so couples can mark the romantic occasion with a trip away.

Lockdown restrictions mean a getaway is impossible - so holiday rental company Habitat Escapes is transferring its St Valentine’s Day packages to June 14 at its properties in the Cotswolds and Dorset.

So, for those who were hoping to get away for a romantic break this year, there is no need to be disheartened by the current travel restrictions.

Couples who book to stay during the week of June 14 will benefit from 10 per cent off the price of their holiday and Habitat Escapes will provide them with a complimentary picnic hamper for two.

Complete with Poulton Hill Estate or Langham Classic Cuvee English sparkling wine, themed sandwiches, home-made patisseries and chocolate strawberries, the hamper is perfect for a romantic picnic in the beautiful English countryside.

The holiday company offers a fantastic range of self-catering properties - from cottages to lakeside homes, modern barn conversions to larger houses with private facilities.

Prices start from £669 for a four-night stay. There is availability at both Lower Mill Estate, Cotswold & Silverlake, Dorset for the week of June 14, 2021.
