When it comes to booking a holiday, sometimes the best destinations can be right here in the UK.
And it looks like some of the UK's biggest stars seem to agree, according to holiday letting company Sykes Cottages many soap stars and celebrities choose to stay in properties featured on their websites.
The properties often booked include a complete mix of huge guest houses for more than 20 guests to smaller dog-friendly sites.
Hot tubs, open fires, private bars and games rooms are among the offerings at many of the properties so it's not hard to see there appeal.
Below we've rounded-up the properties which have most recently welcomed celebrity guests - with many not being too far from Liverpool .
Ellie's Lodge
Anyone who follows either former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas or his partner Lucy Mecklenburgh on social media, may have spotted they recently stayed in a huge party house.
The property they chose was Ellie's Lodge.
Ellie’s Lodge is set in the heart of the Lake District, surrounded by countryside.
The property is great for large groups and parties, accommodating up to 26 people.
9 Horizon View
Katie McGlynn who plays Sinead Tinker in Coronation Street has stayed at 9 Horizon View.
The property, which looks like it is definitely worth the drive from Liverpool, is described as a spacious six person cottage in Dobwalls, Cornwall.
According to the website, it’s the perfect base for exploring and close to the fishing harbours of Looe, Fowey.
Lane Foot Cottage
Coronation Street star Cath Tyldesley chose to stay at Lane Foot Cottage.
Lane Foot Cottage is in the small town of High Bentham, near Lancaster.
The property sleeps up to six people and is dog friendly too.
Ash Bank, Jacob's Wood
Ash Bank, Jacob’s Wood is a cottage located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in a small town called Silsden, with close access to Ilkley Moors, Bolton Abbey, and Skipton – perfect for a walking holiday in the countryside.
The property comes with a hot tub and BBQ, and fits up to four guests.
Celebrity guests include Scarlett Moffatt.
