Last minute summer holiday cancellations are being re-sold by a UK travel company for 60% less than the original price in a bid to cut administration costs and fill empty spaces.
It comes just weeks after the collapse of Laterooms and Superbreak - which saw thousands of holidays cancelled with immediate effect.
Park Holidays - which specialises in staycation breaks - said any families with their suitcases already packed could make big savings if they still want to travel at the last minute.
The company, which offers stays at 28 of its seaside parks in the UK, is offering deals on breaks that start in just a few days.
Families must choose from what's available rather than specify preferences - but if they are prepared to be flexible, the savings can be pretty substantial.
Recently, a three-night summer break at Marlie Holiday Park near New Romney in Kent was sold for £119.00, instead of the £380 going rate.
It said a sharp rise in bookings this year has meant an inevitable increase in the number of people having to make last minute changes of plan.
The company said that quick-fire sales enable it to make big savings on administration and staff costs.
All last minute holidays will be reduced sharply for 48 hours, and made available to people calling the company's cancelled deals desk.
As the holidays have already been specified by the original customer, many may include features such as top-grade accommodation or other extras.
But Park Holidays UK insisted that there is no element of a "mystery buy" about the holidays; customers will know the exact specifications of each stay before they decide to commit.
