If you've built up a good few points on your Nectar card, hold off on spending them for the time being.
That's because the long-awaited 'Double-Up' event is thought to be coming soon.
The promotion allows shoppers to double the value of their points to spend on certain gifts, toys, Christmas decorations and homeware.
Last year shoppers were also able to make the most of the offer on selected cosmetics, skincare and fragrance, Manchester Evening News report.
It's not yet been revealed exactly when the 'Double-Up' event will start, and Sainsbury's is remaining tight-lipped, but it's looking like it could kick off as early as next week.
In 2018, the event kicked off on 29 October online and 5 November in stores, and ran up until 18 November.
What is the Double-Up event?
Double-Up is an annual event where Nectar Points are worth twice as much when you spend them in store.
How does the Double-Up event work?
Shoppers are able to exchange up to 20,000 Nectar points in the following denominations: 1,000, 2,000 and 5,000.
You can exchange your points in the following: Sainsbury's Locals, Centrals & Sainsbury's petrol stations.
When transferred to voucher format, each 1,000 points are worth £10 (they'd usually only be worth £5).
You can then spend these vouchers on select items.
