'Hold my beer' - Chelsea fans make the same Cristiano Ronaldo point after what Romelu Lukaku did

Romelu Lukaku scored twice for Chelsea as they beat Aston Villa 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

The Blues are now joint-top of the Premier League following the comfortable victory, with Lukaku netting twice and Mateo Kovacic scoring in between the Belgian's goals.

The new £97.5million signing, who was making his second Stamford Bridge debut, got the ball rolling in the first-half with a fine finish in front of his adoring supporters.

Kovacic then doubled the home team's lead in the second-half following Tyrone Mings' costly mistake, which essentially took the game away from the visitors in west London.

Lukaku wrapped up the scoring late on with a superb finish that flew past Jed Steer into the top corner.

The win for Chelsea came just a couple of hours after Manchester United beat Newcastle United 4-1 - with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring twice on his return to Old Trafford.

Plenty has been said about Ronaldo's double in Manchester, but Chelsea supporters were quick to point out on Twitter that CR7's return was "nothing special".

Speaking after the game, Thomas Tuchel spoke about Lukaku's performance against Aston Villa and the impact he has already had at Chelsea since returning to the west London club in August.

Tuchel told Sky Sports: "Full of confidence, he's totally aware of what he wants to do. He takes the last positions and he is totally confident that he is going to score."

It's the Champions League up next for Chelsea, with a home clash against Zenit St Petersburg as the Blues look to defend the trophy they won earlier this year.
