Holby City star Davood Ghadami shows off rippling muscles as he poses topless

Holby City star Davood Ghadami treated fans to a glimpse of his toned torso - and it was quite the sight to behold.

The 39-year-old, who plays surgeon Eli Ebrahimi on the BBC show, uploaded a snap of him posing topless on Instagram.

Flexing his bicep wearing just a pair of blue scrubs trousers, Davood joked he was channeling the late TV host Bruce Forsyth as he struck his iconic pose.

Captioning the snap he wrote: "Went a bit Bruce Forsyth whilst shooting tonight's @bbcholbycity," followed by a laughing emoji.

Davood accompanied the pic with the music to Bruce's quiz show The Generation Game, Life Is The Name Of The Game.

The actor loves to keep fit and often posts snaps of him at the gym doing a range of crossfit exercises.

Davood made his debut as Eli on Holby City in July and admitted he was incredibly nervous -not least because he'd dislocated his shoulder the day before.

He wrote on Instagram: "My first day on the job. Nervous. Zero sleep (as I dislocated my shoulder the day before ).

"Couldn't get over how comfy the scrubs were! All the cast and crew were magnificent that day and have been every day since! Love my Holby home."

Before Holby, Davood was a regular in Albert Square playing market trader Kuz Kazemi in EastEnders from 2014 until earlier this year when he was murdered by solicitor Gray Atkins.

During his seven years in Walford, Kush was married to Shabnam Masood, engaged to Denise Fox, had a baby with Stacey Fowler as well as having relationships with Kat Slater and Whitney Dean.

However life in the real world couldn't be more different for Davood.

The 39-year-old, who hails from Essex, married his long-term girlfriend Isobel back in 2010 with the pair going on to have two daughters together - Eve in 2012 and Grace in 2015.

In 2018, he told Woman magazine: "My wife and I know each other inside out and have a genuine understanding about how the other ticks. We met 17 years ago at university so we’ve got a lot of shared history.

"I’m an incredibly lucky man. My life couldn’t be the way it is without her support. She was amazing when I was in Strictly and kept everything going."

Before EastEnders Davood appeared in Casualty, The Bill, Taggart, Doctor Who and Top Boy.

He also took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 and made it to the quarter finals with his partner Nadiya Bychkova.
