The character recently learned the truth about his parentage, learning he was adopted.
Dom hadn’t been told by his adoptive mother Carol that Ange was his real mother, with him also discovering he had a sister named Chloe.
Both Chloe and Ange work at the hospital, while Chloe remains unaware of her family ties to Dom despite him believing she should know.

Next week, Dom tells Ange once again that he’s keen for sister Chloe to be told the truth.
Dom wants to form a proper relationship with mum and daughter, and can’t do that until she is told.
But he’s not counting on a shocking reveal, as his mother Ange finally opens up to him.
It’s then that he learns a huge family secret that Ange has been keeping, but what does she tell her son?
Viewers will have to tune in on Tuesday to find out, as well as see how Dom reacts to the mystery news.
Meanwhile, there’s a clash on the ward between Jac and newcomer Kian, with his big personality grating on her.
Not keen on his alternative methods of doing things, Jac airs her disapproval to Fletch who drops some home truths.
He reminds Jac that she’s only as good as her team, and should give Kian a chance, so will she manage to get past her initial judgements?
Elsewhere, there’s trouble for newcomer Sue who makes a big mistake on her first day.
