The return of Dom Copeland's abusive ex-boyfriend Isaac Mayfield has left Holby City fans increasingly worried and anxious.
And now it appears that his true motive has finally been revealed - and it's truly sinister.
During last week's episode, Isaac (Marc Elliot) surprising Dom outside the hospital after he discovered Lofty has cheated on him.
Tonight, Dominic tries to give Issac's father the best treatment he can while Lofty (Lee Mead) struggles to repair their broken marriage.
However Isaac manipulates the situation as he becomes Dominic's shoulder to cry on.
And next week things don't get any better for Dom and Lofty's relationship.
Lofty tries desperately to protect Dom from Isaac as Dom helps his ex's father get better.
But Dom refuses to listen and their marriage becomes incredibly strained - something that pleases Isaac greatly.
Will Isaac be able to tear Dom and Lofty apart?
Isaac was fired from Holby in 2017 after Dom reported his physical abuse to the police.
