A visual presentation featuring Katsushika Hokusai's ukiyo-e woodblock paintings was projected onto an enormous screen of water in Tokyo's Odaiba area.
The show was held as part of "hokusai & TOKYO: Mizube o Irodoru Edo Matsuri" (Hokusai & Tokyo: Colorful waterside Edo festival), which took place on Saturday.
The "Water Projection Mapping" show was seen on a 20-meter-high, 40-meter-wide water screen made of sprayed sea water at Odaiba Marine Park. Lasting for about 10 minutes, it combined Hokusai's artwork and characters from the popular game "Fate/Grand Order," with a night view of Tokyo Bay as a backdrop.
