This according to new job listings over at Warner Bros. as the company is searching for new talent to join the team in developing animation for the "Harry Potter" franchise.
'Hogwarts Legacy 2' Is Set to be a Single-Player RPG
Warner Bros. recently posted a job listing on its website in search of an Executive Producer to do remote work. The job details were specific in stating that this position would be intended for the "Hogwarts Legacy" sequel.
The company also stated that the applicant would join Avalanche Software, the developers of "Hogwarts Legacy," to "lead the production of a high-quality single-player Action-Adventure RPG."
While the job listing alludes to developing the sequel title for "Hogwarts Legacy," this specific detail talks about the all-important genre of the game as there has been differing information in the past.
The company is looking for a candidate who has experience in developing AAA-rated titles, which also creates an expectation that "Hogwarts Legacy 2" would be as massive as its predecessor. Towards the end, Warner Bros. also stated that the applicant must have a "passion" for Action-Adventure RPGs, further setting the game's setup in concrete.
The original "Hogwarts Legacy" was set in the action-adventure RPG genre, with the game focusing on a single-player setup in an open-world setting that let players explore the expansive Hogwarts Castle and the area around it.

According to GameRant, the previous multiplayer framework that Avalanche and WB Games are planning for is not meant for "Hogwarts Legacy 2," but another game within the Wizarding World franchise.
