Hoar Cross Hall undergoes £150,000 gym and fitness overhaul

A luxury hotel and spa in Staffordshire has received a £150,000 investment to refurbish its gym and fitness facilities.

Luxury hotel and spa group Barons Eden has handed over the cash to Hoar Cross Hall, based in Burton-upon-Trent, to help it fund the major renovation.

New fitness equipment has been installed as well as new 'impact resistant' flooring and a dedicated lesiure desk at the spa reception.

At the same time, the interior has been given a makeover and new fitness classes, developed by master trainer and consultant James Golden, have been introduced.

The new classes include reformer pilates, TBT and Tabata and new concept classes exclusive to the Barons Eden group.

Barons Eden director, Edward Law, said: "This investment has allowed us to modernise our health and fitness offering at Hoar Cross Hall, and we are thrilled to be able to offer our guests a new range of innovative fitness classes.

"We'd like to extend a huge thank you to James Golden, who has played an integral role in developing our group fitness programme and his experience has been invaluable; he has a wealth of knowledge and expertise and we know our members are going to reap the benefits.

"We are committed to helping our guests improve their health and wellbeing, and as part of this are always seeking new ways to develop our offering. We are delighted with the outcome of this investment."
