'Ho ho ho!' Police break down door in Christmas Eve morning drugs raid at home

Police have arrested three men after cash and Class A drugs were uncovered in a Christmas Eve drugs bust.

Officers broke down a door and stormed a home executing a drugs warrant in Scholes, Wigan, this morning.

Officers left the door smashed in half (GMP)

Piles of Class A drugs and cash were found at the property, leading police to arrest three men on suspicion of supplying of drugs.

Officers who left the front door broken in half in the bust said 'Happy Christmas, ho ho ho' as they shared their success.

A statement posted on the GMP Wigan West Facebook page said: "Neighbourhood officers from Scholes and Wigan West executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at 79 Scholes this morning.

"Three males have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs after Class A drugs and cash were recovered.

"Happy Christmas. Ho ho ho."
