Dozens of passengers were given amazing views of HMS Prince of Wales , from on board a Mersey Ferry, during her visit to Liverpool.
These stunning images of the 65,000 tonne warship were taken on board a special ferry service to give visitors a close-up view of the magnificent vessel.
Mersey Ferries chartered the special River Explorer cruise to celebrate the arrival of the ship.
The trip offered wonderful views of the warship with live expert commentary about the history of the HMS Prince of Wales.

The ship will be departing around 4pm on Friday afternoon, but this is subject to change it is a working Naval ship and could be called away early.
