HMP Nottingham say 'Covid remains a threat' after colleague dies

HMP Nottingham tweeted an announcement that a colleague and 'friend of the prison' had sadly passed away.

The tweet, which was posted Tuesday September 28, expressed the 'deepest sympathy' to the colleague's friends and family.

The tweet read: "Devastated to announce the sad death of a colleague and friend from the prison.

"A sad reminder that COVID remains a threat. We are all in a state of shock and our deepest sympathy to family and friends."

Many have commented sending their condolences to the family.

HMP Drake Hall, HMP Down View and HMP Wealstun have also commented on the post and sending their support.
