His Majesty the King has expressed his thanks to all Thais, the state, private sector, and "Jit Arsa" volunteers for helping to make the coronation ceremonies a splendid success and asked that a thank-you party be organised for all concerned, according to the Royal Household Bureau.
The "Jit Arsa" programme -- or Spirit Volunteers -- was founded in 2017.
The government will hold a royally sponsored thank-you party for the state officials, the private sector and the Jit Arsa volunteers on May 23 at Suphachalasai Stadium while the chiefs of the armed forces will preside over a royally sponsored banquet for their personnel on May 20.
A royally sponsored party for His Majesty's officials and staff will be organised on May 20 at Sanam Sua Pa.
His Majesty has also asked that parties be organised for those who took part in the drawing of holy water across the country.
The water was obtained from sources across 76 provinces and Bangkok for use in the coronation ceremonies. The water was blessed and consecrated for the purification bathing rite, part of the coronation rite.
