Hive in Edinburgh are running virtual club nights during the coronavirus lockdown

Fancy recreating the (ahem) iconic experience of a night out at Hive from your living room? Well, now you can - thanks to their live streamed virtual club nights.

The cheap and cheerful Edinburgh club is closed due to the ongoing coronavirus lockdown but they're live-streaming DJ sets instead, so you can recreate the unique atmosphere of a night at Hive.

There's also a chat function, so you can tell drunk people you'll never see again that they're your best friend and that you love them.

On Tuesdays they're live-streaming Trash Tuesday DJ sets from 9pm to 1am. They are also live-streaming some of their other regular club nights including Cookie Wednesdays, Hi-Society Thursdays, and Flip Fridays.

And if, for example, you missed the fun on Saturday, then the set is still available to play on their Facebook page.

What that basically means is that you can have a Saturday night at Hive on a Monday afternoon these days - what a time to be alive.

Also, for extra authenticity, you could paint your walls a horrible shade of green, pour a bucket of VK on your floor and then throw yourself out of your own house for being too drunk.
