Adelaide paedophile Jadd William Brooker has admitted to more than 180 sexual crimes against children.

Brooker pleaded guilty to 141 offences, including 100 counts of communicating to make a child amenable to sexual activity, in the Adelaide Magistrates Court.

The 39-year-old from Glenelg East previously pleaded guilty to 41 charges, including persistent sexual exploitation of a child, maintaining an unlawful sexual relationship with a child and disseminating child exploitation material.

The court previously heard Brooker's victims included boys from Adelaide, New South Wales and Italy, as well as several unidentified children, and that he used multiple messaging apps including Skype and Telegram to contact kids.

E-crime identified more than 4.5 million "items of interest" on Brooker's phone, laptop and a hard drive that were seized in August last year.

During a previous hearing, an investigating officer said Brooker's offending was the "worst and most degrading witnessed in 14 years of investigation".

The court heard Brooker, who is HIV positive, had conversed with a "like-minded individual" about his desire to infect children with HIV.

His arrest has led to several other people being charged with child exploitation offences, including former Labor staffer Ben Waters.

Brooker, who is in custody, will face court again in January.
