"From life stories to social commentary, and discussion on serious topics such as gambling and suicide, I never shy away from getting into sometimes uncomfortable topics."

The whole show has grown incredibly over the last few years since Sean started recording Blethered with impressive guests including the likes of Martin Compston, MSP Ross Greer and LaFontaines frontman Kerr Okan.

Sean is proud as punch of the growth of Blethered.

He said: "What started out as a homemade podcast with a £50 mic from Amazon, has grown and grown since I started it two years ago.

"Radio Times also named Blethered in their top 20 podcasts of 2020, the only grass-roots, independent production on the list.

"It was named alongside Match of The Day, Dolly Parton, and numerous productions by the BBC, New York Times and other global bodies."

Blethered is available to listen to on Apple podcasts and Spotify, with rave reviews on both platforms.

One fan writes: "Sean clearly has the gift of the gab and can talk to anyone; he's witty and clever' whilst also down to earth and funny."

Another agreeing: "It has been a tough old year so far and this podcast has really helped me to keep going. Sean is such a good interviewer, gets interesting guests on and has a natural and engaging conversation with them."

Sean excitedly tells us about the podcast's first show live show as an exciting milestone.

He said: "This is the first live event I’ve put on, and to be collaborating with the biggest and the best in the business in Gigs In Scotland, is a real honour. Having the first one in a place as special as St Luke’s is just incredible.

"The guest will be remaining a secret for now, to make sure it’s fans of Blethered who are in the audience and not missing out - but people should keep an eye out…"
