Hit Jilly Cooper drama Rivals confirmed for third series on Disney+

  • The second series, which received widespread acclaim and an extended run of 12 episodes, depicts a ruthless rivalry between Lord Tony Baddingham (David Tennant) and former MP Rupert Campbell-Black (Alex Hassell).
  • Dame Jilly Cooper was an active executive producer on the show until her unexpected death at 88 last October, with producers expressing delight that the series will continue her "Cooperverse".
  • The second half of Rivals series two is scheduled to air in November on Disney+ in the UK and internationally, and on Hulu in the US, with further details about the third season yet to be announced.
