The Script will be playing at this year’s The World’s Big Sleep out, it has been confirmed.
The Dublin rock band will be taking to the stage at Trinity College on December 7.
The World’s Big Sleep Out will see events taking place all over the world with the aim to raise $50,000,000 (€45,040,580) to fight homelessness.
David Carroll, Chief Executive of Depaul, this year’s charity partner, said, “It is fantastic news that The Script are supporting WBSO event at Trinity College.
“Homelessness is a major issue right across Ireland with more men, women and children finding themselves homeless than ever before. Support from an act like The Script will put a very large spotlight on helping those who are homeless and those at risk of homelessness.
“For the hundreds who are signing up to be part of this global initiative on Saturday December 7 you will make a real tangible difference.”
Dubliners have also been urged to host their out sleep out in a backyard, office car park, high school, university campus, or elsewhere by registering here.
