The smash hit Broadway musical comedy The Addams Family is set to arrive in Dublin next Spring.
Kicking off at The Gaiety Theatre on April 5th and running until April 9th, the show follows the classic spooky characters created by Charles Addams.
From the writers of multi award-winning hit musical Jersey Boys and with music and lyrics by Tony Award nominated Andrew Lippa, the show stars Joanne Clifton (Strictly Come Dancing and The Rocky Horror Show) as Morticia.
The show also features characters like Uncle Fester, Lurch, Pugsley and more for a heart-warming story of love, family and friendship. There is said to be an interesting twist in this series of events surrounding the kooky family.
Of course, there will be fan favourite Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, who is all grown up and has a shocking secret that only Gomez knows.
She has fallen in love with a sweet young man from a respectable family and Gomez must manage to keep his daughter’s secret until the two families meet for a fateful dinner with hilarious consequences.
The show will feature a live orchestra and extraordinary original score which promises to delight both kids and adults when it arrive at The Gaiety Theatre next April.
