Historic St Catherine's Church on Thomas Street is 250 years old this year - and they are having a gala concert to celebrate!
The birthday bash, which will take place next month, will include live music, stories and songs from throughout the ages of Dublin and The Liberties.
Tickets to the concert on November 23 are just €16 - and all the money raised goes to local charity the Solas Project, which works to teach kids and young people about the importance of self worth.
Featuring Uilleann Pipes and songs from the folk and classical traditions, the first half will be a musical journey through time in the life of Dublin.
At the interval a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink is included with your ticket.
Then the second half will see the Dublin Gospel Choir taking to the stage, with the concert culminating in a joyful finale involving all performers.
Featured performers include:
Dublin Gospel Choir - “Ireland’s Premier Expression of Gospel Music!”
Mark Redmond - ”..garnishing a reputation as the best Uilleann piper in the country..”
Simon Morgan - ”Award Winning Irish Singer. Ireland's most diverse vocal artist, Simon is at the forefront of Irish Musical Life.”
Suzanne Savage - “one of Ireland ́s hidden music heroes, charismatic singer, songwriter, violinist and performer.”
