Hispanic artists have come together to record a music video against Donald Trump.

Grammy-winning producer Emilio Estefan released "We're all Mexican" after collaborating with the likes of Shakira, Carlos Santana and rapper Pitbull.

Others to feature in support of the project include Wyclef Jean, actress Eva Longoria and Whoopi Goldberg.

Estefan hopes that the track will serve as a way to honour and celebrate hispanic culture in response to Republican candidate Donald Trump's campaign.

The producer not only uses famous faces to achieve this but also other staples of Mexican culture, including guacamole and a dancing chihuahua.

The video's description details that the song "is intended as a metaphor symbolizing that we can all become the victims of racism and bigotry at any moment as Mexicans are experiencing in recent times."

"We're All Mexicans", celebrates the positive contributions of immigrants in the United States as a balance to the negativity being expressed publicly."

Donald Trump's campaign to become the Republican candidate for next year's presidential election has not been short of controversy.

When announcing his bid, the billionaire said "I will build a great great wall on our Southern border and I will have Mexico pay for that wall."

Estefan's music video is not the only way people have responded to this anti-Mexican rhetoric.
