'His priority is saving Tottenham': Agent rubbishes exit talks as transfer meeting planned

Radu Dragusin is fully focused on helping Tottenham avoid relegation despite reports linking him with a return to Serie A, his agent insists.

The 24-year-old centre-back has only played a bit-part role in this campaign, limited to just ten appearances after missing the first half of the season as he recovered from ACL surgery.

He is among the various Tottenham players linked with a move away from the club this summer, regardless of whether they dodge relegation, with a variety of clubs in Italy said to be interested in bringing him back to Serie A.

His agent Florin Manea has rubbished those reports, though, insisting Dragusin is solely focused on helping Spurs stay in the top flight.

“I said we won’t talk until the end of the championship; he’s focused on saving Tottenham,” Manea told Romanian outlet Digi Sport.

He continued, saying he had not yet received any approaches, but revealed plans to fly into London and hold talks with Dragusin regarding his future.

“I also talked to him last night. We have time, no one is rushing us for now. If someone calls me, you’ll realise I’m talking, but I haven’t been contacted, I’m telling you the truth.

“His priority now is saving Tottenham. I haven’t talked to Fiorentina, Juventus or even Tottenham. I’ll arrive in England next week, I’ll meet with Radu and we’ll see.”

Dragusin spent the bulk of his career in Italy before joining Spurs, spending time with Juventus, Salernitana and Sampdoria before signing with Genoa and, subsequently, Spurs.

His ACL injury came in January 2025 and saw him sidelined for much of Tottenham’s triumphant Europa Leauge campaign.
