'His guidance will continue to inspire us': DK Shivakumar’s farewell post for Siddaramaiah

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Friday posted an emotional message on X praising Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s political journey and public service.

In the post, Shivakumar described Siddaramaiah’s rise “from a humble village in Mysuru to leading Karnataka as Chief Minister” as a story of resilience, perseverance and commitment to social justice.

“As he steps down from the office of the Chief Minister, I express my heartfelt gratitude and deep respect for his years of service and leadership to the people of Karnataka,” Shivakumar wrote on X.
