Hipp Organic Combiotic First Infant Milk Starter Pack baby milk recalled over safety fears

A brand of baby milk has been recalled over safety fears.

Parents have bought Hipp Organic Combiotic First Infant Milk Starter Pack are asked to check labels, as some packets do not say they contain fish oil.

Hipp has subsequently recalled the item, declaring it a "risk" due to the error on the outer box.

Kids who have fish allergies would be in danger if they consumed the milk.

Hipp UK said: "The recall only concerns Hipp Organic Combiotic First Infant Milk Starter Pack 6x90ml with a best before date of January 9, 2020, March 11, 2020 or April 5, 2020, please return it to your nearest Boots or Ocado retailer, or via the Hipp shop where you will be given a full refund. You do not need you receipt.

"We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and will ensure this doesn't happen again.

"If you would like any further information, please contact: Hipp Organic Customer Services - 0845 050 1351."
