A number of Britons are feared to have gone missing following a devastating avalanche in the Himalayas.
A group of eight climbers , including three men from the UK, two from the US and an Indian guide, have yet to return to their base camp after their expedition to reach the peak of the summit.
Ruth McCance, from Sydney, Australia has been identified as one of the missing climbers, according to reports.
The group was led by renowned UK-based mountain guide Martin Moran, who owns his own mountain trekking company Moran Mountain.

Mr Moran made a Facebook post about the expedition on May 22, saying the group had reached their second base camp at 4870 metres.
Their final summit peak would have been 6477 metres.
The team was expected to take three days to reach their campsite but their tents were found empty days into their journey.

Indian authorities are carrying out a massive search of the country's second-highest peak Nanda Devi after the group failed to return back to base camp last Sunday.
The eight climbers are said to have been part of a team of 12. Only four of them returned to base camp early.
A spokesman for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said: "We are in contact with the Indian authorities following reports that a number of British nationals are missing in the Indian Himalayas.
"We will do all we can to assist any British people who need our help."
