MANALI: Two infant girls, aged about 2-3 months, were found dead in Sukodi nullah of Mandi town of Himachal on Sunday morning, police said.
Police were informed by some local people on Sunday morning at about 9am that bodies of children are lying in the waters of the nullah near the bridge. Police reached the spot, examined the area, and took the bodies in possession for postmortem examination. Both the children were wearing clothes and half of their bodies were submerged in water. Mandi police has registered a case under sections 317, 304 of IPC Act.
Later, while investigating the matter, police traced the identity of the mother of the children.
