Hilltops Free Range Eggs in Boorowa, north of Canberra, are celebrating after putting in an egg-cellent performance at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney.
The farm's owner Katerina Kormusheva said their eggs won four awards including Champion Egg at the prestigious event.
Her hens are left to roam free over the paddocks, with movable caravans used for them to sleep and nest in. The chickens are also constantly fertilising the soil.
"I'm so happy - it's recognition for a very alternative way of farming," Katerina said.
Hilltops Free Range eggs also won the champion award at the Royal Canberra Poultry Show in 2018.
"This is now a confirmation that these are consistently the best eggs in NSW and in ACT," Katerina said.
Hilltops Free Range eggs are available in Canberra at all IGA stores and larger Woolworths supermarkets.
