A talented photographer was stabbed to death on a Tube platform for giving a group of thugs a "weird stare", it has been claimed.
Arsenal fan Tashan Daniel was fatally stabbed on the platform of Hillingdon station in west London at about 4pm yesterday in what is thought to have been an unprovoked attack.
The 20-year-old had been heading to the Emirates Stadium to see the Gunners face Nottingham Forest in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
One friend described Mr Daniel as the "softest guy".
He said: "It's a big shock to us. You'd never think he'd be involved in something like this.

"I'd heard someone on the opposite platform said he was staring at him weirdly."
A colleague and former schoolmate at Bishopshalt School of Mr Daniel, Luke Flynn, spoke of his passions.
The 100% Digital studio employee said: "He will be missed my his friends family and work colleagues.
"He was really involved in his track running. I'm pretty sure he was one of the better runners in the UK.

"He was always doing it every weekend. He was doing really well in the 100m and 60ms.
"He was a nice guy, quiet, and just got on with his work. It's sickening. It's horrible to hear, he was such a nice guy, he was always up for helping.
"Everyone was taken aback when they heard."

Friends and mourners left bouquets of flowers with cards at the station entrance this morning.
One read: "Our thoughts are with your family at this tragic time. Such a waste. Time for people to stand up and say no more!"
Another said: "Rest in peace Tashan. Sadly your life has been cut short. A beloved son, brother. Love to you all"
Mr Daniel was the second man killed in just two hours in London yesterday.

The double death meant 2019's murder rate has overtaken 2019's 10 year high.
Eyewitnesses reported passengers screaming in fear as Mr Daniel was knifed on the Metropolitan Line.
Medics battled to save him as he lay in a pool of blood but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
