Hilary Swank, 48, announces birth of twins in touching Instagram post

Actress Hilary Swank has announced the arrival of her twins in a touching Instagram post. Swank,48, says although “it wasn’t easy” her two little bundles of joy have arrived safe and sound, who she has welcomed with her husband, Philip Schneider.

Earlier today (April 10), the ‘PS I Love You’ star revealed to her 1.6m Instagram followers that she has given birth to twins - a boy and a girl.

In a sweet Instagram post showing the actress snuggling her babies from behind as she stares into a sunset, she says: “It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. Happy Easter! Posting from pure Heaven.”

Celeb friends of the ‘Million Dollar Baby’ actress were quick to congratulate her and her entrepreneur husband.

Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler said “Congrats!!!!” as Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone commented: “God bless honey This is the most extraordinary journey ever so happy for you all.”

Other celebrities that expressed their delight for Swank included Viola Davis, Kate Hudson, Chelsea Handler, Misha Collins and Sophia Bush.

The mother-of-two kept her fans up to date since announcing her pregnancy on Good Morning America in October.

The two-time Best Actress Academy Award-winner currently stars in the ABC drama Alaska Daily and received a nomination for Best Actress for her role as a journalist in the show

Hilary and her husband Philip began dating in 2016, and got married in August 2018.
