Hilary Duff hints she's given birth as she posts cryptic 'big sister' snap

Hilary Duff was congratulated by fans and celeb pals believing she'd given birth after she shared a cryptic snap to Instagram.

The 33-year-old actress took to social media to post a cute snap of her eldest child Banks Violet, two, in the bath

In the caption, Hilary made light of the face Banks was pulling as she joked: I’m a big sister ....... marinating on how I feel about that!"

The post promoted fans of Hilary to offer their best wishes after believing she had welcomed baby number two with husband Matthew Koma.

"First of all congrats mama second of all she’s thirteen " replied one follower.

"Show us the baby!" another requested to the Lizzie McGuire star.

While Hilary's Younger co-star Debi Mazar wrote: "Wait!!!! Banks is a BIG sis!??? Well then.... Hope YOU and fam are doing well!!! Congratulations are clearly in order! Curious if my prediction of a BOY was correct??"

But Hilary swerved all the questions and kept tight-lipped on the details of her leading post.

As well as her children with hubby Matthew, Hilary is also mum to nine-year-old Luca Cruz from her first marriage to Mike Comrie.

In December, Hilary opened up about the arrival of her third child and revealed she'd decided not to find out the sex of the baby.

"We had a gender reveal with Banks and it was such a fun memory," she told People.

"Unfortunately, during these times we felt it wasn't really appropriate. The way we are creating some excitement within the family is to wait to find out the sex on the baby's birthday!"

She added: "I'm not one of those women who loves being pregnant by any means, but I appreciate what my body's doing for me and our family.

"So any given day, it varies between me missing my body that I get to put really cute clothes on, or feeling at peace that this is probably the last time that I'm going to be pregnant and trying to enjoy how sweet this time can be," she said.
