Hilary Duff 'embarrassed' over daughter wanting to play her music on the school run

Hilary Duff has admitted she cringes when three-year-old daughter Banks Violet asks for her music to be played.

The Younger star, 34, confessed that the youngster loves listening to her mum's tunes, even if Hilary doesn't want to herself.

The song in questions is Hilary's 2015 track titled Sparks from her last album Breathe In. Breath Out.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Hilary said: "I can't get away from it because someone exposed my three-year-old to it.

"We get in the car, and I have to listen to my own music because my daughter's screaming, 'I want 'parks, I want 'parks.' "

She continued: "I'm rolling up to her preschool, and every time I turn it way down she's like, 'Why do you turn it off? Why you turn it off?' Like, girl. I'm not rolling up to your preschool blasting my own s***. So embarrassing."

As well as tot Banks, the actress shares nine-month-old daughter Mae James with hubby Matthew Koma, and nine-year-old son Luca Cruz with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

Last month fans believed that Hilary was expecting baby number four after a cryptic Instagram post.

The photo showed the star and her singer-songwriter beau sitting on a plane wearing face masks.

Matthew is seen staring down at his wife as her eyes remained closed. Her caption for the snap read: "Leaving for a little bit …. The 3 of us."

While fans originally thought it was a baby announcement, it turns out she had tagged While she tagged Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins in the post too who was spotted a few rows behind the couple.

She confirmed baby number three's arrival last March by sharing an adorable pic of the newborn.

The confirmation came hours after Hilary unveiled a cryptic post in which she teased the exciting news alongside a snap of her daughter and a caption addressing her as a 'big sister'.

Taking to social media, she announced the brilliant news alongside a snap in which she sat in a birthing pool while surrounded by her family.

In the picture, Hilary and Banks cradled the tiny tot while Hilary's doting husband and older son Luca perched on the edge of the pool.

Alongside the snap, she penned: "Mae James Bair- We LOVE you beauty 3-24-21."
